Berkshire Yoga Festival
The start of something exciting
A new journey for a long-time friend
I met Andrew Tanner around 2014 or ‘15 when a new yoga studio opened up about a mile from my home. Still fairly new to yoga, the studio quickly became a second home to me as I fell in love with the practice. Andrew nudged me into taking his teacher training that fall; I would have never guessed how much the connection would change my life. Over the course of the next years I’d start working closely with Andrew, first as a freelancer, then as his studio manager and eventually purchasing his studio. We’ve longed remained in touch, and was excited, in the fall of 2023 he called me up for a special new project brewing: the Berkshire Yoga Festival.
It was a little wild, at the time, to think how we could pull off a festival of this magnitude in just 8 months, but if anyone could do it, it was Andrew and I was all on board!
Starting with just a logo provided by the founders, I developed some branding and built-out the official Berkshire Yoga Festival website.
The site would go on to include capabilities for integrating scheduling software, point of sale for tickets, a video library offering a “presenter preview, an up to date directory of all the faculty joining and much more!
To date, this was one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on to date, and I am so grateful to Andrew and Dregs of Wisdom LLC for letting me a part of it.
